Erwin offensive tackle Tristan Hardin got an offer from Alabama State Monday, but it was too late. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Eagle committed to Jacksonville State Sunday night.
Hardin will take his official visit to the school this weekend, but was impressed on his previous trip.
“I like the college life up there. The campus is nice and quiet,” Hardin said. “Even though it’s noted as a party school, I didn’t see a lot going on.
“I’ve got a chance to play with one of my best friends, too, someone I played alongside all throughout high school – George Smith.”
Hardin plans on majoring in architectural design and business.
